New Amex Offer: $10 credit at participating small restaurants (it’s more generous than it sounds)
Small Business Saturday is only one month away, and some fun and easy deals are rolling out to Amex cardholders.
A new Amex Offer will give you a $10 credit at participating small restaurants. This offer is far more generous than it sounds and each account can receive significantly more than $10 in credit. I’ll explain.
Small Business Saturday dining credit from Amex
Think of it as a free appetizer from Amex.
You’ll receive a one-time $10 statement credit when you spend $10 at participating small businesses with your eligible Amex card. That’s a remarkably small spending requirement. Here are the caveats:
- You must enroll your eligible Amex card by adding this offer to your card (you’ll find Amex Offers near the bottom of your online account page)
- You must spend $10 in a single transaction
- Offer is triggered only when using your card at a business within the “Shop Small” or “Dining” Amex categories
- This offer is valid between Nov. 1 and Nov. 30, 2019
Remember, Amex Offers are targeted, and enrollment is limited. In other words, the offer won’t be available after a certain number of cardmembers register. If you think you’ll use this offer, best to add it to your card quickly. You’ll find this offer on many of the best American Express cards, like The Platinum Card® from American Express, the American Express® Gold Card, or the recently refreshed American Express®️ Green Card.
While it is only valid once per member, each account can earn this credit more than once, if you’ve got authorized users on your eligible card. Each authorized user can also add this offer and score a $10 credit at participating restaurants. The lot of you can head out and receive a free round of drinks with this deal.
