MONSTER LETTERS: A new postal service has set up shop in the heart of Hoxton to transport letters to lonely monsters. Drop in to pen a piece for the eagerly awaiting creatures and receive a reply within the month. PERFORMING MEDICINE: Professor Roger Kneebone disrupts ordinary assumptions on the medical profession by asking what happens when this group of scientists is thrown together with actors, musicians, dancers and performers. Museum of London, free, just turn up, 6pm-7pm

Good cause of the dayEscape the trick-or-treaters for a Halloween bash in aid of Trees for Cities. They're raising money to make the concrete jungle that bit greener and are offering £10 entry for a night of music, fancy dress and raffles to make it all happen.
