Mark You Calendars: 2018 Dorkfest is on September 22

I usually wait until June to set a date for Dorkfest, but many of you have asked if I could move things up. Yes, I can.

Dorkfest is now set for September 22 this year, so get ready to come on out and watch airplanes. For those who haven’t been, it’s a very simple thing. From 11am to 1pm, I’ll be at the park right across the street from the In-N-Out next to the north runways at LAX. I’ll have a burger, watch airplanes, and be ready to talk shop with anyone who comes by.

Last year’s event had a great turnout, and part of that is thanks to having it the same weekend as NYCAviation’s LAX spotting event. That went so well that we’re doing it again. Keep an eye on NYCAviation’s Twitter account for more details about their plans.

In the meantime, mark 11am to 1pm on September 22 to spend time with me, delicious burgers, and some airplanes.
